Designed by John Hutton for Donghia in the mid-1990s, the "Block Island" chair is a masterpiece of organic modernism. This rare set features a robust hardwood frame entirely wrapped in hand-finished cane rush, showcasing a checkered basket-weave pattern.
Offered ‘as is’ condition, we have not restored. The structural integrity is sound but cane has patches of stain or discoloration. See photos.
